Sometimes a client wants something that isn’t readily available. These are the projects I enjoy most… it’s the times I can create a solution that is both elegant and effective.
Below are a couple of completely custom solutions that had specific design requirements that worked out exceedingly well!
The client needed a way to keep visiting pets out of the kitchen that would allow them to still be nearby and see their people. We built this barn door from reclaimed pine and used matte black steel balusters to match the barn door hardware.Custom steel and cedar gate. Powdercoated steel. Storm door latch with deadbolt.Detail of custom gate. Stainless black oxide acorn nuts and bolts, powdercoated frame, cedar stained to match existing fence, lever latch for convenience.
